I love a quick and easy breakfast in the morning, and this breakfast sandwich is made easy in the air fryer.
You only need a handful of ingredients and you’re on your way to a morning with a full belly.

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 pieces of bacon
- 2 small/medium eggs
- 2 teaspoons of butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 slices bread white
- 2 slices bacon thin
- 2 small eggs
- 2 teaspoons butter unsalted
- ¼ teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
Prepare the air fryer basket with a nonstick cooking spray if needed.
Butter both sides of each piece of bread. Place the bread in a single layer in the basket of the air fryer.
Take the bacon and give it a little twist in the middle, and create a little “nest” for the egg.
Crack open the egg and carefully place it into the center of the bacon nest.
Air fry the sandwich at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 7-8 minutes.
Carefully remove the breakfast sandwich from the air fryer, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and serve immediately.
This recipe was made with a basket style 5.8 quart Cosori Air Fryer. If you are using a different size or different brand of air fryer, your breakfast sandwich cooking time may need to be adjusted.
You can use your favorite breads with this recipe. I love to use classic white and also wheat bread.
It’s best to use a thin cut of bacon. Thicker bacon will need more cook time and will need to be cooked for a few minutes before placing it on the breakfast sandwich.
If you want your egg to be a little runnier, consider decreasing the cooking time from 8 minutes to about 6-7 minutes, depending on your preferred consistency.
